Abstract

The provision of job training and improving employee discipline are two factors that affect the performance of the employees themselves. The provision of job training is imperative in the process of increasing employee productivity for businesses. Training is related to learning and change. Job training is a process used to assist employees in learning new concepts, skills, and knowledge.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Human Resource Training and Work Discipline on Employee Performance. This study used purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 32 with overall samples or saturated samples. This type of research uses a quantitative approach, by testing the validity and reliability of the question items of each variable, multiple linear regression testing, and T test and F test whose processing is carried out using PASW Statistics 18.

The results of this study explain that Human Resource Training (X1) does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). This is because there are several trainings provided by the government or by the Subdistrict Office itself that are not or have not been in accordance with the duties, principals and functions of ASN and THL who participated in the training. Work Discipline (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). This means that if ASN and THL at the Subdistrict Office are not disciplined in terms of completing work on time, office coming and going hours do not update the correct proof of attendance so that they are considered absent, then thus the ASN and THL are considered poor or not good performance. Human Resources Training (X1), and Work Discipline (X2) simultaneously on Employee Performance (Y) at the Wanea sub-district office.
