Abstract

The company is an organization that is engaged in the business of both services and goods, where the organization develops through profits obtained, both by carrying out a series of processes for the utilization of its resources through work descipline, and compensation given regularly and on time to employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and compensation on employee performance at the PT. Kurnia Abadi Kawanua Jaya.

The type of research used in making this thesis is quantitative research. The method used in retrieving is the field research method which use sampling type simple random sampling. The study was conducted with a sample of 95 respondents. Analysis method using the classic assumption test, correlation analysis test, coefficient of determination test, multiple regression test, and significance test (t test and f test) with the help of SPSS 25.

Based on the results of data analysis, obtained from the results of the t test that the variable (X1) tcount  (1.852)1.662 or sig = 0,03 < 0,05 indicates that Ho is rejected or the Motivation variable has a significanteffect on Work performance and variable (X2)tcount (2.425) 1.662 or significant 0.017 0,05 indicates that Ha is accepted or the incentive has a significant effect on Work performance. And the F test is obtained that fcount (9.919)3.10 or sig = 0,000 0,05 indicating His accepted and Ho is rejected.

Thus the results of this study concluded together the Motivation and Incentive have effect on Work Performance at PT. Kurnia Abadi Kawanua Jaya.
